Your Role

As a Ruby on Rails Backend Developer at Tonsser, you'll be a vital part of our engineering team, directly impacting the core of our fast-growing football platform. Your work will span the development and maintenance of our expansive Ruby on Rails API, the core component used across our various platforms, including iOS, Android, React, and Admin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and architect well-crafted and scalable APIs using Ruby on Rails or a similar web framework.
  • Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure that your code is rock solid.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve developer productivity by automating tasks and workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in the industry.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Backend Engineer.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, TDD, and familiarity with tools like Heroku, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find elegant solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English.
