As a professional in testing and commissioning industrial equipment, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experts in the construction of turnkey steel plants. Our client is seeking a skilled Engineer for Testing and Commissioning to support their growth and expansion.
Responsibilities- Installation and Testing: Install electrical, electronic, electromechanical, or telecommunications equipment on-site or in the workshop, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Validation and Quality Control: Validate the conformity of installations to specifications by making necessary adjustments and tests, including electrical power, flow rate, and magnetic field measurement.
- Technical Reporting and Training: Prepare detailed technical reports for tests or installations and train users on equipment operation, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- On-Site and Workshop Work: Work on-site or in the workshop, mostly during regular daytime hours, with occasional variable hours, including nights and weekends, for on-site commissioning.
- Travel and Intervention: Expect regular travel (approximately 30% of the time) for on-site interventions, both domestically and internationally, with all travel expenses covered and a daily travel allowance.
- Education and Experience: Graduate in Electrical Engineering or a similar field, with experience in testing and commissioning industrial equipment.
- Technical Skills: Adept in multiple technical areas, including mechanics, electricity, pneumatic, electrotechnics, and electromechanics, with proficiency in metrology and testing equipment, as well as welding techniques.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent teaching skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively, strong interpersonal skills for client interactions, and proficiency in English.
- Software and Programming: Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (Tia portal and/or Step7) is required, with experience with Rockwell/Schneider software and programming in Labview RT and/or FPGA a plus.
