Position Summary

A Reception Operations Supervisor oversees the front desk activities to guarantee exceptional service delivery to guests, particularly in how team members provide information to assist with guest inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage efficient and precise front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
  • Assist team members in addressing guest requests and inquiries to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
  • Keep the Front Office Manager informed of any pertinent guest feedback or departmental issues.
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of customer service.
  • Brief your team on daily events or notable guests in the establishment.
  • Drive revenue through sales initiatives and promote hotel services for upselling opportunities.
  • Implement correct procedures for accepting various payment methods in line with hotel policies.
  • Oversee the appearance, standards, and performance of the front office team, emphasizing training and collaboration.
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about room types, rates, packages, promotions, and local attractions.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities to motivate team members to meet and exceed service standards.
  • Act in accordance with front-of-house equipment and property management systems.
  • Conduct ongoing training programs for team members.
  • Facilitate shift handovers and briefings as necessary.
  • Adhere to company brand standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and foster positive working relationships with hotel staff.
