Job Description

As an Income Auditor at Accor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to verify the transfer of revenues from Micros to PMS and from PMS to the Accounting system, ensuring that all transactions are correctly recorded and balanced.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the posting of all outlets for their factual and arithmetic correctness.
  • Reconcile credit card and MPESA transactions, and bill out credit cards (AMEX, DINERS, etc.).
  • Supervise the work of Night Auditor and Restaurant cashiers, ensuring that all duties and responsibilities are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Establish and maintain accurate and legible logs for all credit cards, and reconcile daily revenues and settlements.
  • Verify revenues for minor operating departments such as telephone charges, and ensure their interface has no errors.
  • Perform surprise checks on F&B outlets, and compare open checks to tables occupied, settlement of guest checks.
  • Prepare and distribute daily/weekly and monthly reports, such as daily revenue report, cover report, discrepancy report, voids/discount report, daily income audit checklist, and banqueting revenue control sheet.
  • Reconcile Micros and PMS bookings, and verify the general cashier report and validate the collections with that reported in Opera.
  • Test Check operations in F&B Outlets, and ensure month end processes meet the deadline.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting would be an advantage.
