About the Role
Safran, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Manager to join its Quality and Progress direction. As a key member of the Industrial, Purchasing and Performance Direction, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence across Safran and its tier companies in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Safran's industrial activities and tier companies in their transformation plans and performance improvement initiatives
- Leading diagnostic and preliminary activities to identify areas for improvement and develop working plans
- Coaching and training teams to deploy change management and sustain operational excellence
- Using One Safran Group standards and methodologies to build sustainable solutions
- Acting as a coach and project leader to transfer knowledge and content
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 15-20 years of experience in managing total quality in supply chain or industrial operations, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Good knowledge of MRP2 processes, supply chain referential, and associated tools (ERP systems)
- APQP referential and industrialization of engineered products
- Lean transformation techniques and management, digital evolution of means, and project management practices
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills, with the ability to adapt to any situation
