Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at LG Electronics Vehicle component Solutions. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our automotive components and core solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Initial analysis of quality issues raised from customer production lines, creating detailed reports and implementing corrective actions.
- Competent analysis of issues under vehicle condition, including CAN log collection, DTC checking, and software updates.
- Supporting customer and internal processes, including software updates, sample rework, and product validation.
- Participating in regular meetings with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
- Building strong relationships with customer production sites and engineering teams.
- Supporting quality discussions internal and external, including field quality and customer plants quality.
- Occasional travel to customer plants and dealers for quality assurance and testing.
Requirements
- Academic degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of comparable work-related experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of problem-solving tools, including 8D reports, fishbone diagrams, and 5Why construction.
- Good understanding of development and production processes within the automotive industry.
- Fluent understanding of verbal and written English and French.
- Excellent communication skills in an international team.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel, with a valid car driving license.
