About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As a key member of our Information Management Department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the network infrastructure of the company, worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage firewalls, proxies, WAN accelerators, VPN, SASE, ZTNA, and other security solutions to ensure the integrity of our network.

  • Design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of our global operations, including LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Internet Access.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure, networking, and security issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Plan for future growth and scalability, ensuring our network infrastructure can support the needs of our business.

  • Automate security configuration and management using Ansible and Git, ensuring consistency and efficiency across our network.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation of new and existing network designs, implementations, processes, and tooling.

  • Provide support for other applications and projects as needed, ensuring seamless integration with our network infrastructure.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong background in implementing and operating enterprise-level networking and security equipment.

  • Experience in network security is mandatory, with expertise in Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Stormshield, Proxies, and Cisco ASA firewalls.

  • Experience designing and building complex data center networks with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions, such as Cisco ACI and Cisco SDA, is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD technologies, including Git, Ansible, Terraform, and other relevant tools.

  • Strong ability to think creatively, adapt to change, and seek continuous improvement, with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team motivation and problem-solving.

  • Ability to assess, evaluate, and prioritize activities and topics, particularly under time pressure.

Language

Fluency in French and English is essential, with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Experience in German and/or Spanish is a plus.

This role requires a security clearance or the ability to obtain one from recognized authorities. Some travel may be required for the position.
