Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Portfolio Manager within the GREC team includes:
- Daily oversight of the portfolio, including contract bookings, hedging activities, and profit and loss analysis.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Development of macro hedging strategies (volume risk assessment, customer consumption forecasts, etc.) and cost valuation.
- Contributing to the enhancement of information systems (prioritizing new features, drafting specifications, conducting tests, and overseeing projects).
- Working towards the automation of operational processes.
Required Skills:
- Essential: Proficiency in mathematical and statistical analysis, data manipulation, and programming (VBA, Python, SQL).
- Desirable: Familiarity with financial products and energy markets.
Soft Skills:
- Essential: Attention to detail, responsiveness, and a collaborative spirit.
- Desirable: Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work independently.
Educational Background:
- Qualifications: Strong academic credentials (Master's degree in engineering or business).
- Experience: 0 to 2 years in a relevant field.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in French and English is required.
Travel Requirements:
This position is based in Paris La Défense, with potential travel to other locations as needed.
