Currently, Redstone Commodity Search is collaborating with a renewable energy trading firm seeking to recruit a Green Trader to enhance their operations.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks- Execute trades involving carbon credits (both compliance and voluntary) along with various green certificates on the Green desk.
- Identify and develop commercial opportunities that will contribute directly to profit and loss.
- Cultivate and maintain existing relationships within the EU market while also establishing new connections.
- Stay informed about market trends to optimize profitability through strategic business development.
- This role reports directly to the Managing Director.
- A minimum of 5 years of trading experience in the European market.
- Proven experience in trading carbon credits and/or green certificates (such as GOO's, I-REC's, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to advance within the organization.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to London.
