We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier - PT at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting sales, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ask each customer for cash donations at the POS to support our mission.
- Establish or identify prices of goods using our merchandise information system.
- Complete closing procedures, including counting and securing cash and merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment, including restocking merchandise and maintaining sales floor standards.
- Utilize our paging system to make regular announcements and communicate with team members.
- Model Goodwill's Core Values of Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation in all interactions.
- High School education or equivalent experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
