VRS Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Microbiologist to join our client's Research and Development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the sterility of a brand-new drug production unit and developing and/or supervising required activities to outsource microbiology operations.
Key Responsibilities- Microbiological Activities: Assist in setting up and following up of microbiological activities for outsourced experimental drugs in line with quality, timeframe, and within budget.
- Outsourced Microbiology: Organize outsourced microbiology activities, ensuring strict regulations and protocols are being followed.
- Issue Management: Manage OOS, OOT, and microbial issues related to external and internal stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Participate in audits and inspections, CAPAs, and work closely with the sterility assurance department to define and establish specifications.
- Education: Master's and/or PhD in Microbiology.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a sterile environment within an industrial pharmaceutical setting (ideally in R&D).
- Skills: Solid knowledge of GMP regulations (Annexe 1) and previous experience analyzing both sterile and non-sterile products.
- Language: Fluency in English is essential, and French would be preferred.
- Travel: Some travel to outsourced partner laboratories may be required.
