Job Overview: Operations Agent in Waste Treatment and Energy Recovery

Veolia's Waste Recycling and Valorization division is seeking a skilled Operations Agent for its waste treatment and energy recovery facility. This role is available on a permanent or fixed-term contract basis.

  • Conduct regular inspections during shifts to ensure all machinery operates effectively and resolve localized issues as they arise.
  • Oversee local process operations and communicate operational metrics to the Unit Operating Supervisor according to the established schedule.
  • Engage in maintenance activities on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate the overhead crane in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support the transporter in the handling of by-products (such as ashes, REFIOM, slag) and the unloading of reactants (including ammonia, soda, acid).
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

Possess a technical diploma, demonstrate adaptability, decision-making skills, and a strong willingness to learn in a challenging technical environment.

Additional Information:

Willingness to work shifts (morning, afternoon, night) and on weekends and holidays as part of a rotation.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary ranging from €2060 to €2210 per month, distributed over 13 months based on experience.
  • Performance-related bonuses and allowances between €100 and €200 per month.
  • Net allowances for meals, transportation, and cleanliness ranging from €150 to €200 per month.
