Head of Planning and Operations

We are seeking an experienced and highly dynamic operations professional to join our team as the Head of Planning and Operations. This is a key role in ensuring the success of the rider network in France, and you will be responsible for leading the further professionalism and development of the function at Deliveroo within France.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement scalable processes to ensure Deliveroo maintains world-class operations.
- Collaborate closely with our Global Product and Technology teams to improve systems and processes.
- Work with commercial stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for riders, restaurants, and consumers using our app.
- Manage several direct reports, setting targets and facilitating their personal and professional development.
- Provide regular, relevant, and concise updates on operational topics to wider business stakeholders.
- A high standard of university-level education or equivalent experience in consulting, program management, supply chain management, engineering, or a high-growth startup or scale-up.
- Experience building scalable processes, tools, and structured change methodologies.
- An ownership mindset and a curiosity to uncover and diagnose unusual outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to rally a team behind an idea and get stakeholders to buy in to your ideas.
- Analytical and strategic thinking, with a demonstrated understanding of financial systems and key drivers within a dynamic operational environment.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to remove barriers and bottlenecks.
- Comfortable handling multiple workstreams and prioritizing tasks effectively.
