Procurement Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join Cedeo as a Procurement Coordinator in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal customer service by managing the procurement process for a portfolio of products/suppliers in our warehouses.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Order Management and Optimization
    • Secure purchases and verify purchase conditions to ensure compliance with company standards.
    • Manage shortages and validate daily restocking orders for warehouses to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Follow up with suppliers on unconfirmed or delayed orders to minimize disruptions to our operations.
    • Handle reception discrepancies and check backlogs validity to place orders efficiently.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring and Movement Optimization
    • Monitor supplier indicators, quality, response time, reception quality, and disputes to ensure compliance with company standards.
    • Enforce logistics specifications with suppliers to maintain high-quality products and services.
    • Address product defects/quality issues with suppliers and verify compliance with deadlines.
    • Ensure accuracy of information in receipts and updates on supplier details in collaboration with Marketing.
    • Follow up on order changes impacting suppliers with the Flow Manager to maintain smooth operations.
  • Collaboration with DSC Teams
    • Collaborate closely with the National Flow Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
    • Regularly communicate with Regional Flow Managers and Logistics Coordinators for reception prioritization to maintain optimal warehouse operations.
    • Potentially travel to warehouses or suppliers when needed to ensure effective management of our supply chain.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Procurement or Logistics is required, along with experience in procurement and knowledge of supply chain management and procedures.
  • Proficiency in logistic information systems and KPI management is essential for success in this role.
  • A customer-oriented individual with strong teamwork skills, proactive, excellent coordination, and anticipation abilities will thrive in this role.
  • Autonomy, adaptability, and attention to detail are crucial traits for success as a Procurement Coordinator at Cedeo.
