Owkin is seeking a talented Procurement Coordinator to join our finance team. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies to ensure short and long-term optimization.
You will work closely with our operational teams and report directly to the Purchase Director. Your primary responsibilities will include participating in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies, maintaining purchasing procedures, and ensuring compliance with their application.
In addition, you will participate in the identification and sourcing of suppliers, contribute to the negotiations of commercial conditions, and launch and manage tenders when required.
You will also develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, identify and analyze expenses, and challenge their needs. Furthermore, you will manage purchase requests and purchase orders follow-up in our Purchase to Pay tool and improve continuously the tool.
The position is based in our Paris offices.
About YouRequired qualifications and experience include a Bac +4/5 training in a business school or university, first experience in a Purchase department, and knowledge of call for tenders, purchasing standards and procedures, purchasing techniques, and negotiation techniques.
You should have a strong sense of analysis and organization, autonomy, strength of proposal and negotiation, rigour, ability to work on several projects simultaneously, interpersonal skills, and good communication.
A minimum intermediate level (B2) in written and spoken English is required, as well as flexibility and ease in working in a constantly changing environment.
