The P&C Retail Unit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to drive Technical Excellence with entities worldwide, supporting them in driving growth & profit.
The Senior Retail Enablement position is functional to facilitate the mandate of the GUO, creating the proper frameworks for assuring the success of the entities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain and adjust all Governance and Control processes such as Referrals, Application Letters, Exceptions, GUL, LTA, ARCC and Breaches.
- Identify specific projects for addressing emerging needs from the Entities, building up toolkits, methodologies and appropriate centres of expertise.
- Experiment different ways to approach the business, including the use of internal and external sources and technologies.
- Maintain a continuous market view and insight, with active participation in conferences and proactive meetings with start-ups.
- Solve emerging challenges in Underwriting using Data and AI competences.
- Develop training courses for entities to enhance technical UW.
The P&C Retail business is a core pillar of the Group in terms of both Underlying Earnings (33% of total) and customer base (20m+).
Each market has its own dynamics, regulations, and challenges.
Context and Major ChallengesThe P&C Retail business is a key driver of the Group's growth and profitability.
The role requires a deep understanding of P&C business operations and insurance rationale, as well as strong technical skills and leadership abilities.
Requirements- Knowledge of P&C business operations and insurance rationale.
- Knowledge in P&C actuarial fields.
- Around 8/10 years Underwriting experience in Retail Lines of Business.
- General knowledge of Retail Lines insurance Products and client segments.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Experience working in complex environments.
- Knowledge of programming, SAS, or other AI languages + Microsoft tools.
