Job Opportunity: Enhancing Road Transport Governance in Africa

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for a new EU-funded project, Technical Assistance to AUDA-NEPAD - Infrastructure Support Mechanism (ISM). We are seeking individual experts to carry out the assignment, focusing on enhancing road transport governance in Africa.

The project aims to reduce trade costs and improve mobility of persons, fostering an integrated African economy and creating job opportunities. AUDA-NEPAD, in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC) and Regional Economic Communities (RECs), will play a leading role in facilitating and supporting the project's activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a mid-term review of the project's progress and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the project's infrastructure support mechanism.
  • Develop strategies to enhance road transport governance in Africa.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Road Engineering, Transport Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in transport infrastructure, preferably in the road subsector.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of English or French (C1) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
