Role Overview
The Sustainability Data Manager will play a crucial role in driving Roquette's sustainability performance by managing, analyzing, and communicating non-financial, safety, and environmental data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive sustainability data management system to track progress and support improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for "Life+Nature" related initiatives.
- Improve, implement, and document data collection processes, manage data contributor and validator community, and supervise tools to ensure data governance and accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret non-financial, safety, and environmental data to provide project leaders with clear insights on trends and areas for improvement.
- Generate data and dashboards to issue reports in different formats and frequencies.
- Support the preparation of annual sustainability reports and other external communications, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting frameworks and standards.
- Stay current on standards, market tools, and best practices in sustainability data management to provide guidance and recommendations for adapting reporting processes.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the integration of non-financial, safety, and environmental data into company-wide systems and processes.
- Train and support teams on sustainability-related data management tools and processes.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis software, such as Excel, Qlik Sense, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards, with a focus on non-financial, safety, and environmental aspects.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, sustainability, environmental science, data management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability data management, analysis, and reporting, with a focus on non-financial, safety, and environmental performance.
