Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our West Coast operations. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, overseeing the Accounts Payable team, and reviewing and reconciling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable team for the West Coast.
• Review and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Contribute to financial analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
• Prepare documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
• Help with mentoring and training junior staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Proven experience in month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Experience preparing Internal Financial Reports to aid in decision making.
• Understanding of AP and AR processes.
• Work and reconcile within the GL.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
