Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project EPC Contract Engineer to join our team at MPH. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contract Management
  • Provide support for all contract and procurement activities required by designated capital projects.
  • Advise and execute on more complex forms of contracts, including CCFT, OBE/OBT, and FEED+.
  • Develop commercial structures and contract terms for designated projects.
  • Evaluate commercial aspects of bids and recommend award.
Contract Engineering
  • Participate in defining and coordinating contract methods for the entity.
  • Coach contract engineers on contract management methods and best practices.
  • Ensure governance is followed for contracts process on projects.
Claim Management
  • Assist and/or participate in claim management or counterclaim process.
  • Analyze and review existing contracts/claims and provide expertise support to projects.
  • Investigate and assess merit of major claims/disputes.
  • Provide recommendations for building claim dossiers and corresponding settlement.
Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to contracts REX/lessons learnt consolidation.
  • Screen existing REX and prepare main lessons learnt to be shared with other contract engineers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in contract management and engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of contract laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
