JOB PURPOSE
- To identify and recruit retail talent for both active and passive roles across mainline and outlet locations in Europe
- To oversee the daily execution of recruitment initiatives, ensuring compliance with established metrics
- To serve as a brand ambassador, delivering a premium experience for candidates and hiring managers alike, consistently achieving the highest standards.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert in areas such as Attraction, Sourcing, Screening, Assessment, Pipelining, and Offer Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective sourcing and assessment strategies while managing expectations
- Oversee the entire candidate journey, which includes but is not limited to:
- Proactively attracting, sourcing, and aligning candidates with open positions
- Advertising vacancies through the most effective channels to draw in candidates – LinkedIn, job boards, etc.
- Conducting telephone/video interviews with all shortlisted candidates
- Coordinating, presenting, and facilitating competency and strength-based interviews and assessment centers
- Organizing interviews
- Managing the offer process
- Supporting initiatives to enhance diversity within the talent pool
- Building and maintaining a network of candidates through effective sourcing and ongoing relationship management
- Creating talent maps through proactive market research and leveraging candidate networks
- Partnering with HRBP and the broader HR team regarding candidate compensation, mobility, and visa inquiries
- Contributing to broader Talent Acquisition strategies with innovative ideas and approaches that enhance recruitment processes
- Elevating Burberry's employer branding as a premier employer by crafting and executing strategies that showcase our unique culture, values, and career opportunities, attracting top talent globally.
- Embodying the Burberry values in all actions as a brand ambassador
PERSONAL PROFILE
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail recruitment within a recognized internal and/or external recruitment environment
- A comprehensive understanding of recruitment processes and standards relevant to the field
- Proficient sourcing skills with experience managing multiple searches, whether in-house or agency-based
- Experience engaging with passive candidates through diverse sourcing techniques
- Proven ability to strategically map organizations and functions
- Experience in developing and effectively hiring from talent pools
- Familiarity with innovative approaches to sourcing, attracting, and building talent pools
- Experience with recruitment systems, including applicant tracking systems
- Strong understanding of external best practices and trends in Talent Acquisition
- Delivering a premium candidate and hiring manager experience, focusing on quality and efficiency

- Successfully filling over 150 retail candidate vacancies across 28 mainline and outlet locations in Europe annually
- Meeting Talent Acquisition metrics for pace, accuracy, and quality
- Delivering effective talent pools and market maps
- Understanding the business and recruitment processes across all areas
- Familiarity with global key initiatives and processes
- Adhering to all deadlines
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Exemplifying the Burberry Values in all endeavors
