As a key member of the Accor team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the gardens, green walls, paths, lawns, trees, shrubs, and plants at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort.
Key Tasks
Maintain gardens, green walls, paths, lawns, trees, shrubs, and plants by pruning, trimming, and other gardening techniques.
Inspect lawns and all other plants for problems and apply fertilizers, fungicides, weed killers, and other chemicals to control pests and diseases.
Ensure all equipment, including safety equipment, is in good working condition at all times and perform minor repairs as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness of parking lots and other public spaces within the hotel.
Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Ensure a high level of personal appearance and uniform cleanliness, particularly when working in guest areas.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in rotating through different sub-sections of the Engineering Department as needed.
Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Grounds and Gardens Supervisor.
