About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Deployment Leader to join our team at Suedheide Geniessen. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the deployment of large and complex IT projects and programs, ensuring successful delivery and adherence to business strategies and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and engage a high-performing team of up to 15 people, coordinating internal and external resources, and providing coaching and guidance to other project managers.
  • Oversee activities throughout the project lifecycle, including initiation, development, implementation, and nurturing phases, while managing quality, cost, and time.
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate project/program risks and issues, and own and lead the program/project governance processes with relevant business and IT leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global and regional teams to define expected business outcomes and ensure successful hand-over to business as usual (BAU).
  • Manage third-party vendors to ensure delivery per service level agreements (SLAs) and recommend improved ways of working.
  • Utilize project portfolio management (PPM) tools for resource planning, project milestones, risks, issues, and financials.
  • Deliver solutions that are quality and functionally tested, with supporting project/program documentation that meets functional and technical requirements.
  • Engage senior stakeholders across multiple functions, business partnership, IT directors, and business leaders to ensure successful project deployment and benefits achievement.
  • Continuously improve the deployment process by evaluating and implementing best practices, processes, and tools.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in IT or project management, with a strong background in digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams, mentoring, and coaching junior project managers.
  • Strong program management skills, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs, budgets, and interdependencies.
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Trello, Jira, etc.
