Job Description:

Contract Type: Permanent contract

This senior deployment leader role will be part of the global Royal Canin Delivery organization, providing project and portfolio management capabilities to the Royal Canin Division. The role will partner with either a region or a global function to oversee all the portfolio of projects and ensure it's executed according to the standard required. This includes owning the project portfolio plan for the region/function, leading project teams and program organizations, ensuring the application of best-in-class deployment frameworks, practices, and governance, and delivering strategic benefits to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the single point of contact for the delivery team for the region/function to ensure project requirements are proactively addressed and all projects for the region/functions are delivered according to the team standard.
  • Responsible for the deployment of large and complex DT projects and programs, securing benefits delivery and adherence to functional & segment strategies and priorities.
  • Leads and engages a high-performing team of up to 15 people, coordinates internal and 3rd-party resources, provides coaching, guidance, and support to other project managers.
  • Oversees activities throughout initiation, development, implementation, and nurturing phases while managing quality, cost, and time.
  • Identifies, mitigates, and communicates project/program risks and issues.
  • Owns and leads the program/project governance processes with relevant Business and DT Leaders.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional global and regional teams to define expected business outcomes and ensure successful hand-over to BAU.
  • Manages 3rd parties to ensure delivery per Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and recommends improved ways of working.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the relevant business area and technologies to support the development of accurate and concise functional requirements.
  • Utilizes the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for resources planning, project milestones, risks, issues, and financials.
  • Delivers solutions that are quality and functionally tested, with supporting project/program documentation that meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Engages senior stakeholders across multiple functions, Business Partnership, DT directors, and business leaders to ensure successful project deployment and benefits achievement.
  • Continuously improves the deployment process by evaluating and implementing best practices, processes, and tools.
