Edmund Optics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketplace Product Line Manager to join our team in Lyon, France. As a key member of our European sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a product strategy that aligns with corporate goals and market demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a product strategy that drives profitable growth of our standard product business
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to inform product decisions
- Identify and develop innovative new products, relationships, and market strategies
- Work closely with stakeholders to determine market needs and future direction
- Manage workload of multiple, concurrent projects and priorities
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, or related field
- Four (4) years experience in an optics, lasers, or physics lab, or in product support of optical or photonics components, or in product development of technical components
- High level of personal initiative, analytical skills, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate product strategies and requirements
- Understanding of financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to product profitability
