We are seeking a highly skilled Cathode Electrodes Materials Scientist to join our team at Automotive Cells Company (ACC). As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for driving the optimization and development of cathode electrodes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for cathode electrode optimization, focusing on material characterization and design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of new cathode electrode formulations, ensuring they meet product goals and specifications.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of new cathode electrode materials, using physical and chemical techniques to assess their performance.
- Support the scale-up of products, working closely with process, project, and quality teams to address technical topics and issues related to cathode electrodes.
- Perform root cause analysis to understand degradation mechanisms and issues related to cathode electrodes, identifying solutions to improve product performance.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications for cathode electrode formulations and ceramic coatings, ensuring they meet product requirements.
- PhD or Master's degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Process Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in battery research or the battery industry, with a focus on cathode development and formulation.
- Strong knowledge of battery manufacturing, design processes, materials chemistry, and electrochemistry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
