About INOVSYS

INOVSYS is a dynamic and innovative company, a subsidiary of Airbus and EDF, specializing in technological innovation for industrial performance. We are a team of 12 people based in Marignane, with expertise and resources in:

  • Sourcing and validating new technologies for the industry
  • 3D printing (polymer and metal) for prototyping and material studies
  • Endurance testing of mechanical components (gears, bearings, joints)

We have a 500m² workshop at the Henri Fabre Technocentre to validate technologies and host testing equipment, including a 3D scanner, a cobot, and virtual reality tools. Our main clients are large corporations, as well as SMEs and TPEs, with a strong presence in the aeronautics and energy sectors.

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our mechanical design activity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Functional analysis and writing of technical specifications
  • 3D modeling of components
  • Material selection and process choice
  • Design and planning
  • Analytical and numerical calculations
  • Design of special systems and machines
  • Writing of definition documents
  • Industrialization
  • Supplier and subcontractor selection and management
  • Complex project management

As our activity grows, you will take on increasingly important responsibilities, including project management and team leadership. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development and client prospecting.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical design principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
