Paris, Île-de-France AXA France Temps plein
Your Role and Responsibilities

About AXA

As a leading global insurance provider, AXA is dedicated to fostering human advancement by safeguarding what is essential. With a workforce of 153,000 across 54 nations serving 105 million clients, we have cultivated a dynamic and inclusive community. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is deeply intertwined with our core values, creating a culture of mutual respect among colleagues, clients, and the communities we serve. By joining AXA, you will experience a sense of belonging, inclusion, and the opportunity to flourish. You will have the autonomy to shape your work and expand your potential as you explore new avenues, challenge limits, and support individuals during pivotal moments in their lives. This is your opportunity to craft the future you envision.

About the Division

AXA is transitioning into a sustainable, technology-driven organization, and AXA Group Operations is a key driver of this transformation.

We lead the charge by catalyzing and empowering the evolution of our insurance business model through technological advancements and innovation, ensuring rapid and high-quality implementation on a global scale.

With a presence in 17 countries, our dedicated and highly skilled teams leverage technology, data, sourcing, security, and investment allocation to achieve global efficiencies and synergies as needed.

At AXA Group Operations, we aim to excel in three key areas:
  • Cutting-edge Data Technology to enhance customer experience.
  • Advanced Procurement & Sourcing to improve efficiency and manage risks effectively.
  • High-Performing Global Teams to strengthen partnerships with AXA entities.
Job Overview

If you are enthusiastic about identifying customer needs, managing feedback, and analyzing market trends, you are in the right place.

As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the initial phases of product development, spearheading the discovery and prototyping stages of innovative solutions aimed at transforming the insurance landscape. Additionally, you will be instrumental in facilitating the deployment of existing products to both internal and external clients.

Organizational Context

The Division

Within AXA Group Operations, the Group Emerging Technology and Data (GETD) team defines the organization’s data maturity objectives; builds and manages the community; leads research and expertise; supports less data-mature entities; identifies cutting-edge technologies; and develops disruptive applications for various entities.

The Team

In GETD, you will become part of the Computable Contracts team.

We have developed a solution to render insurance contracts computable. Computable contracts serve as the intersection of law and technology, utilizing standardized digital models that are easily interpretable by all stakeholders, from legal professionals to everyday customers and machines. This approach enables the expression of contract terms directly in machine-executable code: contract as code is foundational for automation, standardization, and simplification, leading to enhanced customer experience (transparency and personalization) and operational efficiency. Computable contracts represent a transformative opportunity for the insurance sector and for AXA. This strategic initiative is endorsed at the executive level. If you seek a meaningful role, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and embrace challenges, we invite you to join us in this new venture.

Job Purpose

Your primary responsibility as a Product Manager will be to conduct discovery and delivery of new initiatives aimed at enhancing the existing capabilities of the Computable Contract products or introducing new functionalities through:

Research: Collaborating with the technical lead and UX/research designer to gather insights and understand the problem landscape while identifying potential solutions. This phase often involves extensive exploration and analysis to define project scope and requirements.

Proof of Concept: Engaging in the initial iterations of a product or feature: the Proof of Concept, which is vital for testing ideas and concepts. Proofs of Concept validate assumptions, gather user feedback, and facilitate rapid iteration before transitioning to full-scale delivery.

Delivery: You will oversee the transition of learnings to the delivery phase of the initiatives you have followed, including drafting detailed specifications, planning tasks, and identifying dependencies within the product roadmap. You will also monitor the planning and deliverables in support of the initiative leads.

Your secondary responsibility will be to manage the roll-out of existing Computable Contract solutions to new clients, starting internally within AXA entities and subsequently extending to other market players.

For the internal roll-out, this will involve:

• Identifying use cases and driving adoption within the most advanced AXA entities.

• Accelerating and monitoring adoption within AXA efficiently (engagement, reporting, KPI collection, etc.).

• Structuring the internal roll-out process in collaboration with the customer success and delivery lead, and identifying necessary resources.

• Documenting the onboarding process for internal entities, including API integration.

• Scaling the adoption of Computable Contracts' products within AXA by liaising with a single point of contact in each interested entity and relevant global business community.

• For the external roll-out, the goal is to gauge the interest of P&C Retail insurers in AXA's CC solution, leveraging the most mature modules: Coverage Check.

Finally, you will support product management by contributing to the product roadmap through benchmarking, market monitoring, and creating demos and sales pitches, as well as aiding in the communication and simplification of concepts related to computational law, computable contracts, and contract comprehension for both internal and external teams.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Idea Generation and Exploration: Generating innovative concepts and exploring new technologies or methodologies applicable to the project.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conducting feasibility assessments to evaluate the practicality and potential impact of proposed ideas.
  • User Testing and Feedback Gathering: Partnering with the UX designer and initiative leads to conduct user testing sessions and collect feedback to validate assumptions and identify areas for enhancement. Understanding user perspectives is essential for refining prototypes.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Working alongside other product owners, product managers, designers, and developers to ensure that prototypes align with user needs and business objectives, guaranteeing efficient delivery through regular communication and coordination.
Your Profile

Soft Skills / Transversal Skills
