About the Role

As the Lead Product Manager for the Core Marketplace and Journey Enablers teams, you will take charge of developing, innovating, and maintaining shared core business capabilities utilized by all Product and Engineering divisions. This role involves ensuring clear ownership, comprehensive documentation, and alignment across various teams for functionalities such as reservations, offers, availability, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Product Management

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape to guide your vision.
  • Develop a product strategy that facilitates seamless integration with partners and appropriate feature abstraction for marketplace components.
  • Maintain a long-term perspective within the project's scope, considering its implications on the overall product strategy of the company.
  • Oversee the direction of two engineering teams, aligning their priorities with company objectives and monitoring progress.

Focus on Outcomes

While the mission is deeply technical, prioritizing business outcomes is essential to address genuine user challenges and deliver value.

Stakeholder Management

You will engage with various teams and stakeholders, including marketing, business development, operations, and customer support, to shape the project's vision and ensure its feasibility and alignment.

Product Execution

Drive product execution from backlog prioritization to quality assurance, collaborating closely with Engineering Managers to ensure successful software development.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the enhancement of the Product team's methodologies and processes through knowledge sharing and mentorship, leveraging your previous experiences.

Who You Are

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within marketplaces.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, and marketplaces, along with a background in engineering is advantageous.
  • Able to work strategically with business stakeholders and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction and the restaurant industry.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
