The Geneviève HAAG Unit is a specialized inpatient facility dedicated to adolescents aged 12 to 15 experiencing developmental challenges. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will operate under the guidance of the unit supervisor, working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, families, and educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the developmental needs and independence of young patients.
- Recognize and address developmental delays in children.
- Support and motivate children during daily activities.
- Apply suitable methods and practices tailored for children.
- Establish trust and rapport with children and their families.
- Modify activities according to children's responses and needs.
- Foster emotional, cognitive, and social development in children.
- Manage challenging situations effectively.
- Engage in teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
Professional Development:
