A prominent iGaming organization is seeking to appoint a Regulatory Compliance Officer to enhance operations within regulated jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:- Formulate, revise, and execute a variety of compliance-related policies and procedures to ensure that the Group's activities in the Markets adhere to relevant regulatory standards by monitoring compliance with these policies, conducting internal audits, and reporting findings to the Head of Compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the Risk, Customer Support, Technical, and Operational Compliance Teams to oversee the integration of new regulatory requirements and maintain ongoing compliance with applicable regulations.
- Track, evaluate, and disseminate updates on new or amended laws and regulations impacting the Company's operations and other compliance-related issues, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT).
- Ensure that the Company's business activities within the Markets are conducted in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal guidelines.
- Assist the Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) in the respective Markets as needed, including identifying AML risks, supporting AML audits, and contributing to training initiatives on AML/CFT best practices.
- Prepare and manage the submission of applications for new gaming licenses or renewals as required by the Company in the Markets.
- Facilitate a seamless licensing and certification process for any new licenses.
- Ensure timely reporting and compliance with notification requirements in the respective regulatory markets, including submissions, returns, and filings to the relevant authorities within the designated timeframe.
- Engage with external legal counsel on compliance matters within the Markets.
- Maintain communication with relevant authorities and other entities regarding licensing and compliance-related issues.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- At least 2 years of experience in Compliance or related fields.
- Proven ability to interpret, understand, and convey regulatory requirements effectively.
- Capable of following directions while also taking ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring their completion independently.
- A responsible and trustworthy individual who can manage and uphold a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Experience dealing with various regulated markets and jurisdictions.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the MGA and/or SGA License.
