From privacy to fraud prevention, identity, digital payments, connectivity, network slicing, or edge computing, our ambition is to provide easy-to-use APIs available on multiple digital marketplaces, including the Orange Developer portal.
Among our key initiatives, we are leading contributors to the CAMARA open-source project and GSMA Open Gateway. From beta versions to commercialization, we aim to assist developer communities and business partners in leveraging new network APIs to support new use cases and shape products.
As a Developer Relations Manager, you will work closely with Orange's developer team and the Telco API program director to shape and lead our DevRel strategy on the new APIs supporting developer engagement, community management, and feedback to product, software engineering, and network teams.
### Key Responsibilities
* Develop and articulate an overall strategy to engage developer communities on the new Telco APIs and develop an action plan accordingly.
* Ensure a balanced approach to developer relations among activities such as documentation, conferences, online community engagement.
* Contribute to developing the narrative internally and externally to inspire developer users on how Orange Telco APIs help solve their problems and work closely with product leaders.
* Create momentum and drive platform adoption through your interactions with developers building applications and businesses on Telco APIs.
* Represent Orange Telco APIs to the developer community and all our external users, partnering with business teams to showcase product capabilities and implementation.
* Contribute to the development of inspiring demos, application examples, samples, and presentations that you and senior management use at major events for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Establish a process for creating and maintaining documentation and examples for our toolchain.
### About You
* Software developer at heart with strong communication and presentation skills, you will frequently represent Orange at external tech events, contribute to partnership development, and train developers on technical communication and knowledge sharing.
* Coach and support leadership and team members in delivering compelling technical demos and presentations at events or internally.
* Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing DevRel teams; strong leadership skills.
* Proven experience in successfully creating and optimizing DevRel processes.
* Demonstrated experience in developer relations including experience with development tools and open-source projects.
* Exceptional skills in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
* Strong communication and presentation skills to various audiences.
* Fluent in English, French is a plus.
* Strong project management and organizational abilities.
* Technical knowledge and familiarity with the development community.
* Built large-scale demos or materials on software products showcasing your abilities and inspiring users.
