Your Team:



Within the engineering division of the Paris office, you will contribute to the Regulatory Compliance section, a team of 600 people with 60 years of experience in energy project design.

Your Playground:



As a Regulatory Compliance Manager Off-shore, you will participate in the engineering and design of projects carried out by TEN France for the group's various business lines, focusing on decarbonized solutions, LNG, and biofuels.



Within a multicultural task force, you will be in interface with teams from other disciplines and international partners, ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting to project management and clients.



Your Daily Activities:




  • Establish, maintain, and implement project procedures related to regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure suitable reporting to project management and clients.
  • Review national regulations and inform the project of applicable regulations in each phase, supporting clarification when necessary.
  • Ensure robust documentation of regulatory compliance is available.
  • Establish and maintain a permitting register.
  • Implement class activities with Classification Society, ensuring exchanges are performed, understood, and recorded formally in a timely manner and of right quality.
  • Ensure project documents are identified and transferred to Class Society in a timely manner, ensuring disciplines close-out.
  • Coordinate project queries raised to Class/Flag.
  • Be responsible for the commercial aspect and final close-out of Class contracts.
  • Ensure Flag provisional Certificate and Class Provisional Certificate are issued and re-issued in a timely manner until final hand-over to Client.
  • Establish and execute contracts with third-party vendors, ensuring requirements are cascaded to Vendors/Subcontractors if required.
  • Support project performance standard coordination.


You will be the internal and external focal point for these activities.



Your Assets for Success:



As a Regulatory Compliance Manager Off-shore, you should have an engineering degree or equivalent, minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with Classification Societies, Flag administration in the Maritime/Oil and Gas industry, and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with third-party organizations, national authorities, and regulatory compliance.



Experience with local regulation and permitting support is an advantage. You should possess good communication and coordination skills, ability to work with third-party organizations, local authorities, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internally with multiple disciplines.



You should have good knowledge of Classification and Flag administration rules and International Laws, Acts, and regulations. A good understanding of the role, responsibilities, and limitations of a third-party organization is required.



You should have technical knowledge in systems and packages, construction, and testing philosophies. Good knowledge of technical safety is an advantage.



Experience from Operations, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning, and understanding of engineering processes, are good advantages.



You should naturally promote team-working and cross-functional collaboration among the different functions both internally and externally.



Analysts and organizational mindset, along with effectiveness in building and implementing new processes and procedures, are very much welcomed.



Your spirit of synthesis, excellent communication skills, your dynamism, and a good level of English will be key to integrating you quickly and performing in our teams.
