About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team in France. As a key member of our European Planning and Logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity and excellence in execution of logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance to all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise and negotiate with external 3PL and transportation contacts to ensure efficient operations.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to logistics.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to execute daily operations.
- Communicate effectively and foster clear and positive cooperation with team and internal contacts to address service and cost goals.
- Monitor customer requirements to execute high service level and maintain Ecolab interest.
- Manage urgent ad hoc and routine analytical requests.
- Identify and execute systemic process improvements.
- Lead carrier selection in conjunction with procurement and the European carrier management.
- Partner with European Supply-chain to implement continuous improvement solutions.
- Partner with local business to drive customer focus supply chain improvement.
- Partner with customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or supply-chain.
- Proven working experience (8+ years) in logistics operations.
- 3+ years previous experience in managing others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in chemical supply chain environment, FMCG, agro industry.
