Job Description:

In the capacity of a Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in AWS, GCP, and Azure, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard our organization’s digital resources and guarantee the utmost level of security within our cloud environments. You will be instrumental in designing, executing, and sustaining comprehensive security protocols, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and proactively addressing cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and oversee security solutions within AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
  2. Perform regular security evaluations, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to uncover and rectify potential weaknesses.
  3. Monitor and react to security incidents, conducting root cause analyses and applying necessary remediation strategies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to embed security best practices into development and deployment workflows.
  5. Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure adherence to industry regulations and data protection mandates.
  6. Remain informed about the latest trends, threats, and technologies in cybersecurity to continually enhance the security framework of our cloud infrastructure.
  7. Conduct cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.
  8. Engage in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing concerning security-related incidents.
  9. Work alongside external partners, vendors, and clients for security evaluations and audits.
  10. Assist in addressing client inquiries regarding the security features of our Cloud Services.

Qualifications:

  1. Mandatory : Relevant certifications in Cybersecurity:
  • CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+;
  • AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer accreditation;
  • And/or a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity.

Experience and Skills:

  1. Over 7 years of proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a comparable role with a focus on AWS, GCP, and Azure security.
  2. Experience in designing and implementing security solutions in intricate cloud environments.
  3. Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST, FedRAMP, etc.
  4. Knowledge of global data protection laws such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
  5. Practical experience with security assessment tools, SIEM solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  6. The ideal candidate will have experience with Exabeam, Crowdstrike EDR, and common cloud provider security solutions.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  9. Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  10. A commitment to staying updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
