Role Overview

As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and documenting Gorgias' public and private APIs at scale.
  • Establishing monitors, metrics, and comprehensive tests to ensure API SLOs meet Gorgias' high standards.
  • Collaborating with senior individual contributors to create robust models and APIs, considering the needs of both external and internal developers.
  • Defining abstraction levels for our data models and ingestion pipelines to ensure reusability and maintainability.
Work Environment

Our work arrangement is hybrid, requiring in-office presence two days a week.

Team Collaboration

You will work closely with a senior manager, product manager, product designer, and other senior developers within a dedicated team.

Support and On-Call Responsibilities

Provide support and be on-call for specific features, following a rotation.

Desired Skills

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience with Python, Postgres, and Keycloak.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frontend frameworks.
