Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team at Microsoft. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with executives and business decision makers at high levels of the customer's organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute account plans to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer business needs are met.

Build and maintain relationships with customers through consultative engagement to establish Rhythm of Business (RoB) and highlight the value of Microsoft solutions.

Proactively develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business and technology needs and priorities.

Lead new opportunities and orchestrate internal teams to accelerate the customer's digital transformation.

Develop and oversee the execution of account plans utilizing common sales and delivery methodology for the Microsoft sales organization.

Think strategically about customer planning for assigned accounts, setting standards and priorities, and outlining where to and how to invest resources.

Anticipate moves within assigned accounts and potential problems, and determine prioritization of action based on customer needs and sales-generating importance.

Expand network of key internal and external partners for accounts to ensure execution of core tasks and account transactions.

Seek customer feedback to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction.

Lead and orchestrate extended virtual teams and key stakeholders to expand relationship with decision makers and stakeholders of assigned accounts.

Educate decision makers on Microsoft's value proposition aligned to customer's business objectives.

Develop value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes.

Implement strategies to engage relevant stakeholders of assigned accounts and create and/or identify upselling/cross-selling non-qualified opportunities.

Requirements

5+ years experience working in Media or driving digital transformation, or Account manager of large accounts in a Tech company.

OR Master's Degree in Business Administration and 2+ years experience working in an industry and/or driving digital transformation.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years experience working in the industry of Media or other relevant work experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field and 6+ years experience working in an industry.
