About Natural Power:
Natural Power is a premier consultancy in the renewable energy domain, dedicated to fostering sustainable practices and innovative solutions for over 25 years.
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will engage in pioneering research aimed at enhancing atmospheric flow physics and turbulence specifically for wind energy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refine an existing meso-microscale coupled model by incorporating the wake effects of future wind turbine technologies in marine settings.
- Examine critical factors such as boundary layer height, atmospheric stability, and intricate land-sea interactions.
- Collaborate with research teams across various locations to develop and validate the model.
Work Locations:
- Initial Phase: Focus on evaluating wake models and developing Ventos wake implementation.
- Subsequent Phase: Partner with academic institutions to integrate wake modeling into a commercially viable framework.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation will align with local regulations for Doctoral Researchers and the guidelines of relevant Doctoral Networks. The employment period spans three years, offering ample opportunities for professional growth and development.
