About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Snaphunt as a Chief Hop Farm Technologist, where you will play a key role in driving the continuous improvement and optimization of hop farm processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process improvements to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
- Analyze plant performance and propose process improvements to enhance consistency.
- Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Process Flows for new and modified equipment and procedures.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and track process metrics.
- Conduct process audits and resolve audit findings.
- Lead project planning, including scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Oversee project execution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Crop Science.
- At least 3 years of experience in hop farming, with a strong background in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Working knowledge of hop farm management, hop growing and harvesting management, farm development planning, and procurement management.
- Ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to problems.
- Highly goal-driven and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Adaptable and able to navigate changing environments.
- Will to relocate to the Russian Federation for full-time employment and willingness to undertake up to 30-60% travel within the region.
