Our company, ANCOR, is seeking a highly skilled Hop Farm Technologist to join our team in Russia.
The Role
As a Hop Farm Technologist, you will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement and optimization of processes to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing plant performance and proposing processes to improve consistency of operations.
- Developing SOPs and Process Flows for new and/or modified equipment and procedures.
- Determining critical process metrics for regular monitoring.
- Conducting process audits and resolving audit findings.
- Setting project scope, timelines, and budget, as well as resource planning and activities scheduling.
- Working closely with stakeholders on project-related matters.
- Overseeing all aspects of project management and operations to ensure smooth execution.
- Analysing risks and mitigating them to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Ensuring project compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.
Ideal Profile
- You possess a degree in Agronomy or Crop Science.
- You have at least 3 years of experience, including solid experience in a similar role in hop farming.
- You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, are organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- You have working knowledge of Hop Farm Management, Hop Growing and Harvesting Management, Farm Development Planning, and Procurement Management.
- You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems.
- You are highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environments.
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments.
- You are prepared to relocate to the Russian Federation for full-time employment and undertake up to 30-60% travel within the region.
