SuperGrid Institute is a leading player in the energy transition, specializing in innovative high and medium voltage direct current (HVDC and MVDC) power systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:We are looking for a talented Research Engineer to contribute to our R&D projects and provide research services for external customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out state-of-the-art studies, literature reviews, and technology watch on a given subject.
- Conducting simulations/tests based on specifications and preparing factual reports for the R&D Manager or Project Manager.
- Participating in the development of new technology by designing models, preparing resources, and testing.
- Summarizing and presenting results at internal or project meetings.
- Contributing to the drafting of reports and publications, scientific/technical journals, or brochures.
- Participating in conferences or communication events to present technical results.
- Contributing to the development of collaborations and services with customers by participating in technical exchanges and project execution.
We are looking for a recent PhD graduate or holder of an engineering degree or 5 years' higher education with a specialization in Mechanics, Energy, or Electrical Engineering, with at least 2 years' experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical modeling and testing, as well as the ability to work independently and manage innovative research projects.
