About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon France Services SaS - D77. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary team members to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions.
  • Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient software systems that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software that meets the requirements of our customers.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
Requirements
  • Graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Previous technical internship(s) or experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with optimization mathematics, such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
  • Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems and thinking abstractly.
