The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in the Corporate Performance department, driving strategic initiatives and supporting senior management in decision-making processes.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in planning and forecasting activities, including strategic plans, operating plans, and quarterly landing processes.
- Analyzing quarterly financial statements, identifying variances, and providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Developing and maintaining financial models, simulations, and sensitivities to support resource allocation and performance measurement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on finance and non-finance projects, such as process reengineering, capital allocation, and performance management.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in reinsurance or insurance.
- Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, financial audit, controlling, consolidation, or financial consulting.
- Knowledge of IFRS (particularly IFRS 17) and Solvency II.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience with SAP solutions.
- Business and finance education, such as an MBA or actuarial degree.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
