About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at Orange Innovation, focusing on the development of next-generation wireless systems. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing research in the Integration of Sensing And Communication (ISAC) technologies, particularly in the context of 5G and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on waveform design and resource allocation in ISAC systems
  • Investigate the potential of 5G New Radio (NR) reference signals for sensing
  • Propose novel waveform designs that balance the tradeoffs between communication and sensing performance
  • Develop resource allocation strategies that optimize system performance in ISAC environments
Requirements
  • Master's degree in wireless communications or a related field
  • Strong foundation in wireless communication, with knowledge of 5G New Radio (NR)
  • Familiarity with radar and sensing systems
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++
  • Good command of the English language

Contract

This is a paid internship opportunity, lasting between 4 to 6 months, with a flexible start date between January and April.
