The Role

As a Cloud Engineer in our Cloud/DevOps team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the design and planning of the build phase for infrastructure and operations projects.

  • Deploying and managing cloud resources (on AWS, Azure, GCP, Scaleway, etc.) using tools like Terraform.

  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines.

  • Assisting development teams in integrating their applications into the cloud.

  • Reporting on task progress to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Optimizing cloud environment costs and performance.

  • Setting up and managing monitoring and alerting solutions.

  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.

  • Contributing to the improvement of operational processes.

  • Designing and pricing technical solutions related to cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities - Run/MCO

  • Participating in the planning of MCO tasks (Maintenance, updates, security monitoring, etc.).

  • Applying security patches and updates on various platforms, cloud or non-cloud (VM, containers, etc.).

  • Ensuring the availability of integration tools.

  • Acting proactively to industrialize processes and anticipate recurring issues.

  • Participating in resolving production incidents and analyzing their causes.

  • Developing autonomy in technologies, languages, and mechanisms necessary for project realization.

Required Profile

We're looking for someone with:

  • A degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

  • A successful first experience, preferably in the cloud domain.

  • A cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be appreciated. Kaliop can fund this type of certification training based on the needs of the collaborator.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong Linux skills.

  • Familiarity with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Understanding of infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with a tool like Terraform.

  • Comfort with container use, such as Docker.

  • Knowledge of container orchestrators like Kubernetes.

  • Autonomy in system and network administration.

  • Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).

  • Good knowledge of web concepts (HTTP, TLS, DNS).

  • Basic knowledge of web development technologies (front-end, back-end, CMS, etc.).

  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
