About the Job:
The EMEA Strategy, Strategic Pricing & Market Intelligence team is seeking an Intern to collaborate on projects focused on key strategic initiatives for the company. The selected candidate will gain continuous leadership development, hands-on practical experience, and a strong exposure with the Affiliates and Regional Brand Teams.
About your responsibilities:
The internship is structured around three main axes:
Market Intelligence:
- Conduct in-depth research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Contribute to strategic monitoring efforts by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing market and competitor data.
- Conduct analyses and utilize prestige beauty databases to generate insights on market trends and consumer behavior.
- Create detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings and provide actionable intelligence to management.
- Participate in projecting the EMEAI prestige beauty market to support the construction of the long-range plan and secure sustainable market share gains.
Business Management:
- Support the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth, profit, and improve market position.
- Evaluate financial data to identify areas for improvement and support the formulation of 'what-if' scenario-driven financial enhancement strategies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and profit by Brands, Affiliates, Categories, Channels, and business development activities.
- Perform scenario-based analysis to evaluate the financial implications of strategic actions, facilitating informed, data-driven decisions.
Corporate Strategy:
- Assist in the formulation and revision of the Regional strategic plan, ensuring alignment across Affiliates, Brands, and Channels.
- Engage in cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and initiatives that support the company's overall strategy.
- Participate in strategic planning, offering analytical support and insights to guide decision-making processes.
- Assist in the management and execution of strategic projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
About you:
Minimum Education Level: Minimum Master degree (Bac 4/5) from a Business School, Engineering School, or University.
Specialized in Finance/Management/Information technology.
Minimum Years and Area of Experience: At least one previous experience.
Required Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.
Licenses or Certifications: Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI is a plus).
