Renewable Energy Project Manager

At Green Recruitment Company, we are seeking a highly experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead our team in the development of wind and photovoltaic projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of 6-12 project managers in the prospecting, business development, and acquisition of new renewable projects.
- Oversee the development of current projects, including project progress, strategic decision-making, and risk committee preparation.
- Supervise wind and photovoltaic project managers and accompany them on site for important meetings with stakeholders and local, departmental, regional, and national elected representatives.
- Set team objectives and provide support to achieve them.
- Coordinate inter-departmental relations in France and abroad for all matters related to portfolio development.
- Engineering degree or 5 years' higher education, ideally with a specialization in renewable energy.
- At least 10 years' experience in the development of wind and/or photovoltaic projects.
- Proof of successful experience acquired with an RE operator in the in-depth study of technical and administrative constraints of a wind and/or photovoltaic project.
- Ability to read, proofread, require, and obtain from engineering consultancies and their subcontractors the correction and finalization of an environmental impact study or a preliminary agricultural study within set deadlines.
- Proven expertise in town planning regulations, legal knowledge of land ownership, and a good understanding of the regional environment.
- Ability to lead teams, make strategic decisions, and communicate effectively in a high-stakes public context.
- Fluency in French, with English as an asset.
