Position: Senior Project Manager for General Installations

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for General Installations (M/F) to collaborate with SOM CALCUL, a firm renowned for over 30 years in mechanical calculations, including thermal, fatigue, vibrational, and general facility calculations for nuclear initiatives.

Located in Montigny-le-Bretonneux (78), our team comprises 30 calculation engineers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects from initial feasibility studies through to execution,
  • Evaluate Requests for Proposals,
  • Formulate comprehensive project plans,
  • Assess project costs and resource requirements,
  • Prepare both technical and commercial proposals,
  • Lead a team of engineers,
  • Track project progress and ensure quality of deliverables,
  • Conduct project meetings and presentations,
  • Suggest technological enhancements,
  • Manage project financials.
Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

Degree in mechanical engineering with at least 4 years of experience in nuclear calculations,

Strong understanding of piping and metal structure disciplines,

Proficient in Pipestress (mandatory) and familiar with RCC-M and/or Eurocodes.

Prior experience in the nuclear sector is essential.

This position merges technical management (mentoring junior engineers) with technical expertise (validation of calculations).

Enthusiastic about imparting knowledge to the next generation.
