About the Role

Eligo Bioscience is a pioneering biotech company developing precision medicines to address serious unmet medical needs. We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Researcher to join our team and contribute to the advancement of our pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret genetic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and epigenetic data to support the development of precision medicines
  • Design, implement, and maintain bioinformatics tools and pipelines from scratch
  • Collaborate with synthetic biologists, microbiologists, regulatory specialists, and project managers to ensure data-driven decision making
  • Develop and implement data visualization strategies to communicate complex scientific findings to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • PhD degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in Python scripting and experience with command line utilities
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to present complex scientific findings to diverse audiences
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in academia or industry, with experience in a clinical-stage pharma company preferred
  • Proficiency in Plotly/Dash, Pandas, Git, GNU/Linux, PostgreSQL, Docker, Conda, and AWS
