About the Role: Continuous Improvement Specialist Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Continuous Improvement Specialist Intern. In this role, you will play a vital part in optimizing our packaging processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Article Simplification and Consolidation:
    • Conduct benchmarking studies with other business units to identify best practices.
    • Analyze sales data to determine item volumes and collaborate with various departments to streamline product references.
    • Develop and manage article structures within our ERP system (Prim One), ensuring clarity and efficiency.
    • Optimize manufacturing order bills of materials for improved accuracy and resource allocation.
  • Packaging Waste Optimization:
    • Implement and monitor key performance indicators to track packaging waste reduction.
    • Investigate production malfunctions and irregularities that contribute to packaging waste.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to minimize raw material consumption.
  • Other Industrial Performance Initiatives:
  • Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at enhancing overall industrial performance.
Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or higher program in production management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel or PowerBI, with experience in data manipulation and database structuring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Previous experience in the food industry is a plus.
